I don't know if it's a usual thing, but as a writer, I am always working on lots of stories at the same time. Right now, I'm working on:
* A sequel to my dark childrens novel titled THE SILVER GLASS
* The third book in my Hope Falls Trilogy entitled DRAGONS COVE (it's Allllmost finished!)
* A new childrens' novel entitled CLEOPATRA AND THE CATS
* A fantasy/romance novel entitled CROWS BLOOD
* Editing a book of short stories I've put together called GARDEN CITY
* A new novel, told in journal entries, pictures, patient assesments and emails, called DEEP THOUGHTS
* An idea for another novel set in a bookstore. It's in the brainstorming stage, but I'm thinking of calling it PAGES or INK
* Wondering if I should start the third book in my urban fantasy series Electric entitled ELECTRIC RED. It's been a while and I'm wondering if I should continue with this series...
* Working on my own online publication site ISIS PUBLICATIONS.
I can't seem to focus on one thing for too long. All of the items mentioned above are in different stages of completion.
I wonder if other authors are the same way. Do some start and then finish a book before they move on to the next idea? Or do other authors have multiple things going at once, scribbling down thoughts as they occur to them?
Either way, there's always something to keep my interest.
